Job Summary
In-Home, Associate Veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Provide hospice and euthanasia care to pets in clients’ homes as part of a mobile practice. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, mentorship and access to a support network, and on-boarding support. Independent practice with professional fulfillment, community of veterinarians, and opportunities for schedule structure and compensation that include base salary and bonus opportunities. Location specified as Webster, PA, US; mobile/home-visit duties emphasize compassionate, patient-centered care and work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Pennsylvania
- ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care
- in-home veterinary service experience preferred
- strong communication and compassion in client interactions
