Job Summary
In-home mobile veterinarian role providing hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families in the Baltimore-Annapolis area. Independent practice with mentorship and onboarding support, offering a flexible schedule (2–5 days/week) and a patient-focused, heart-centered approach to veterinary medicine. Responsibilities include delivering compassionate veterinary care with emphasis on client-family communication, maintaining high standards of patient welfare, and practicing medicine in patients' homes with autonomy within Lap of Love's collaborative support structure. The position emphasizes professional fulfillment, personal balance, ongoing training, and access to experienced leadership and a 24/7/365 Support Center.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Licensed Veterinarian in Maryland (MD)
- Eligibility for veterinary licensure in MD
- Ability to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care
- Comfort with end-of-life discussions and compassionate client communication
