Job Summary
In-Home Mobile Veterinarian in the Baltimore-Annapolis, MD area providing hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families. You’ll practice with purpose, enjoy a flexible 2–5 day/week schedule, 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, and receive onboarding, mentorship, and 24/7 support. The role emphasizes independent practice within Lap of Love’s veterinary hospice model, continuing professional fulfillment while maintaining balance, with compensation based on schedule (4-day base from $117,500; 5-day base from $140,000) and additional bonus opportunities. Responsible for compassionate patient care, family communication, and delivering high-quality veterinary services in clients’ homes.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD
- Licensed veterinarian in Maryland or eligible for licensure in Maryland
- In-Home veterinary experience preferred
- Hospice and euthanasia care experience preferred
- Strong communication and empathy for clients
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexible schedule 2–5 days/week
