Job Summary
In-home mobile veterinary role focusing on hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in the Pittsburgh area, with flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules and 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day. Independent practice supported by onboarding, mentorship, and a dedicated support team, offering meaningful, emotionally fulfilling clinical work and opportunities for professional growth. Base salaries correspond to schedule structure (4-day from $107,500; 5-day from $130,000) with additional bonus opportunities; part-time and prorated schedules also available in the market.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary college
- Active veterinary license in the state(s) of practice
- Ability to perform hospice and euthanasia visits in clients' homes
- Strong communication and compassionate patient-family interaction skills
- Comfort with work-life balance and emotionally meaningful cases
