Job Summary
In-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary care for companion animals in the Baltimore-Annapolis, MD area as a Mobile Veterinarian with Lap of Love. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, typically 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, and an autonomous, yet supported practice environment including onboarding, mentorship, and a 24/7/365 support center. Responsibilities include delivering compassionate veterinary care during end-of-life moments, conducting home visits, and communicating effectively with families to align care with their values. The role emphasizes professional fulfillment, personal balance, and a client-centered approach within a trusted veterinary network.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Active state veterinary license in Maryland or eligibility to obtain license in Maryland
- Ability to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary care
- Excellent communication with pet families and clients
- Comfort with home-visit-based veterinary practice
- Strong mentoring and collaboration mindset
