Job Summary
In-Home, Associate Veterinarian for a mobile veterinary hospice practice in Westchester County, NY and surrounding areas. Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in clients’ homes with a focus on patient-centered, emotionally fulfilling care. Role supports flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with meaningful client interaction, ~3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, comprehensive onboarding, mentorship, and 24/7/365 support. Opportunity to practice independently within Lap of Love’s culture of kindness, with ongoing training and dedicated practice managers. Locations include Westchester County, NY and Norwalk, CT. Compensation varies by schedule, with 4-day full-time starting at $117,500 and 5-day full-time at $140,000 plus bonus opportunities; 3-day full-time and part-time options with prorated compensation are also available.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
- Licensed veterinarian in NY or eligible for licensure in NY
- Experience or interest in veterinary hospice and end-of-life care preferred
