Job Summary
In-Home mobile veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Passaic, NJ and surrounding areas. Provide hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families, practicing independently within a supportive network of mentors and practice managers. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, onboarding and ongoing mentorship, and opportunity to balance professional fulfillment with personal well-being. Requires DVM and NJ veterinary license, and ability to perform compassionate end-of-life care with clients in their homes.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Active New Jersey veterinary license
- Ability to perform hospice and euthanasia care
- Strong client communication and compassion in end-of-life scenarios
- Experience with in-home/mobile veterinary practice preferred
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and animal welfare
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Flexibility to accommodate scheduling (2–5 days per week as described)
