Job Summary
In-home, associate veterinarian role in Mantoloking/Jersey Shore area focusing on hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week options with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, mentorship and onboarding support, and the opportunity to practice medicine with autonomy outside of a traditional clinic. Emphasis on compassionate care, work-life balance, and serving families during meaningful moments while maintaining client relationships and documentation. Salary structures include 4-day opportunities from $117,500 and 5-day opportunities at $140,000 with additional bonus potential; 3-day and part-time options prorated are also available.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Active veterinary license to practice in NJ
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in home settings
- Strong communication and compassionate client care skills
- Ability to work independently and manage in-home visits
- Flexibility to fit 3–5 day-per-week schedules
