Job Summary
In-home mobile veterinary role providing hospice and euthanasia care for pets in Dallas County, TX. Work independently within Lap of Love’s supportive clinic-of-one model, with a focus on compassionate end-of-life care, meaningful client interaction, and flexible scheduling (4- or 5-day weeks available; 3–4 unrushed appointments per day). Includes onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing support from practice managers and leadership; opportunity to practice medicine with autonomy while maintaining work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
- eligible for veterinary licensure in Texas
- experience with hospice or end-of-life care preferred
- ability to perform euthanasia in a professional manner
- excellent client communication and empathy
