Job Summary
Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary care to pets and families in Chester County, PA and surrounding areas. Offer flexible schedules (3–5 days per week) with an average of 3–4 unrushed appointments per day. Operate as an Associate Veterinarian within Lap of Love’s mobile practice, leveraging mentorship, onboarding support, and a collaborative culture to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in clients' homes. Emphasize work-life balance, professional fulfillment, ongoing training, and autonomy in a mobile, clinic-free setting.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (VMD)
- Current veterinary license to practice in Pennsylvania (PA)
- Ability to provide mobile in-home veterinary care including hospice and euthanasia services
- Excellent client communication and empathy for families during difficult moments
- Eligible for professional liability insurance and state accreditation
- Ability to work independently with mentorship and onboarding support
- Commitment to high standards of animal welfare and professional ethics
- Experience or training in hospice/end-of-life veterinary care preferred
- Flexibility to accommodate variable schedules (3-5 days per week)
