Job Summary
Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary care for pets and families in the Fredericksburg, VA area, working independently within Lap of Love’s supportive culture. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, emotional support for families, and a flexible schedule with 2–5 days per week and an average of 3–4 appointments per day. You’ll be part of a community of veterinarians with onboarding, mentorship, and access to a 24/7/365 Support Center, while practicing medicine with purpose and personal balance.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine
- Ability to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care
- Strong client communication skills
- Ability to work independently with mentorship available
- Flexibility to accommodate a 2–5 day-per-week schedule
