Job Summary
In-home, associate veterinarian role providing hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families in the Merrimack Valley, NH area. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, opportunities for mentorship and support, and a pathway to independently practice within Lap of Love’s culture of kindness. Role emphasizes compassionate, client-centered care, work-life balance, ongoing onboarding and access to experienced leaders, and a base compensation structure with added bonus opportunities for 4- and 5-day schedules. Located in Londonderry, NH with mobile, in-home service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Active veterinary license in good standing (NH) and ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in-home setting
- Ability to perform in-home hospice and euthanasia services with Compassionate bedside manner
- Strong communication skills with pet owners and families
- Self-motivated, able to work independently with mentorship available
- Flexibility to accommodate 2–5 day workweeks and varying schedule structures
