Job Summary
In-home mobile veterinarian role providing hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families in the Baltimore-Annapolis area. Flexible 2–5 day workweeks with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, mentorship and ongoing training, and clinical autonomy within Lap of Love’s supportive network. Mentorship from experienced leaders and a dedicated support center accompany an emphasis on compassionate patient care, work-life balance, and fulfilling practice outside traditional clinics. Opportunities include full-time schedules with 4-day ($117,500) or 5-day ($140,000) base salaries plus bonuses; 3-day and part-time options with prorated compensation are also available. This position involves home-visit veterinary care in the Gunpowder, MD area.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Licensed veterinary professional in good standing
- Ability to perform in-home hospice and euthanasia care
- Strong communication and empathy with clients
- Comfort with flexible schedules and travel within service area
