Job Summary
In-Home Mobile Veterinarian with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice. Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families in the Huntsville, AL area from a mobile veterinary practice. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week scheduling with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, enabling meaningful, family-centered care outside traditional clinics. Join a network of veterinarians offering professional fulfillment, ongoing mentorship, onboarding support, and a dedicated 24/7/365 support center. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality veterinary medical care in patients’ homes, coordinating with families at meaningful moments, and practicing medicine in a way that aligns with personal values while maintaining professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed in Alabama
- In-home veterinary experience preferred
- compassionate hospice and end-of-life care philosophy
- ability to manage time and provide 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day
- ability to work independently with mentorship support
