Job Summary
Light of the World Academy seeks a dedicated, student-centered Middle School Teacher to lead a self-contained 7th- and 8th-grade classroom in Pinckney, MI. Responsibilities include delivering engaging lessons aligned with Michigan standards, differentiating instruction for diverse learners, fostering a positive classroom culture, assessing student progress, communicating with families, collaborating with staff, and integrating project-based and experiential learning opportunities wherever possible. Requires a Bachelor's degree in education and a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Elementary Education endorsement for grades 7–8; strong classroom management and communication skills; experience or interest in Montessori or student-centered approaches is desirable.
