Job Summary
Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to specifications, verifying buyback items for shipping and updating wayfinding signage and digital maintenance. Create safe, clean, and visually appealing product displays while ensuring pricing information is clearly visible and replacing missing labels. Assist customers by answering questions, communicating product details, and locating or handling merchandise, including staging clearance products to drive add-on sales. Repair or replace damaged signage, merchandise, and displays, and communicate project priorities with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager. Analyze metrics to provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
Required Qualifications
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to hear, listen, and to communicate verbally with others
- Utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation
- Live Nursery MST Associates may be required to work weekend shifts
- This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores
- You may be working in both inside and outside weather conditions
- Exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, is possible
- You may be exposed to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment
- Associates must follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds
- Team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed
- Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker
Desired Qualifications
- Lowe's sales floor experience
- Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays
- Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
- Working knowledge of essential tools (e.g., hand tools, drills, saws, etc.)
