Job Summary
Merchandiser role in a Full Time capacity at Total Wine & More focusing on maximizing product inventory, processing freight, building displays and end caps, signage, in-store and curbside pickup/delivery support, and assisting with digital business operations and customer service. Responsibilities include greeting customers, driving product knowledge through wine, spirits and beer training, maintaining awareness of ads/promotions/loyalty programs, ensuring safety/compliance with alcohol sale laws, loading/delivering orders when required, and performing cross-functional duties as needed. Requires familiarity with POS/inventory software and the ability to work a flexible schedule; prior retail experience is preferred and training opportunities are available through Total Wine & More's Total Rewards program.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in a retail setting preferred
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Walk, bend down repeatedly, stand for 8-10 hours, lift 50 lbs, climb ladders
