Job Summary
Orchestrate truck deliveries and prioritize processing merchandise onto the sales floor while executing receiving and merchandising standards. Train and mentor associates on established principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to ensure tasks align with the store plan. Maintain a clean, organized backroom, rotate back stock for easy replenishment, and ensure all merchandise is properly tagged, hung, and secured. Engage with customers to maintain an excellent experience, uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards, and communicate priorities with management. Support shrink reduction goals, promote safety awareness, and ensure compliance with labor laws and hazardous waste programs. Requires 1 year retail and 6 months leadership experience; starting pay $14.00–$14.50/hour.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
