Job Summary
Audit up to 10% of supervised provider documentation monthly, ensure engagement with facility leadership and families, and assume medical directorships for skilled nursing facilities. Provide high-quality complex geriatric care, collaborate on patient panels, and participate in on-call processes. Manage care path compliance, productivity, and prevention of avoidable transfers while supervising nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Identify growth opportunities within assigned markets and attend required trainings to ensure optimal care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Indiana medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification, relevant field (internal medicine, geriatrics, etc.)
- 2+ years clinical leadership and/or supervising physician experience
- 5+ years clinical practice experience
- previous experience with geriatric primary care
