Job Summary
Audit up to 10% of documentation for supervised providers monthly and ensure engagement with facility leadership, patients, and families. Assume medical directorships for skilled nursing facilities or provide high-quality complex geriatric care to patients. Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants while participating in frontline and backup on-call processes. Identify growth opportunities with facilities in the assigned market and maintain focus on quality outcomes including care path compliance, productivity, and prevention of avoidable transfers. Supervise up to 15 practitioners as needed based on state regulatory parameters.
Required Qualifications
- Tennessee medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification, relevant field (internal medicine, geriatrics, etc.)
- 2+ years clinical leadership and/or supervising physician experience
- 5+ years clinical practice experience
- previous experience with geriatric primary care
