Job Summary
Full-Time Meat Cutter II in the North Battleford, SK Co-op Meat Department. Provide safe, courteous, and efficient service; perform meat cutting duties, file maintenance, and product display; maintain sanitation and safety standards; operate equipment (pallet jack, scales, grinder, pricing equipment); stand for long periods and lift up to 100 lbs; available for days/evenings/weekends; Safe Food Handling Certificate required within 3 months of hire; 18+; 2 years of retail meat cutting experience; must embody team orientation and customer-focused service.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 2 years applied retail experience as a meat cutter
- Safe Food Handling Certificate required within 3 months upon hire
- Must be comfortable working with different types of equipment such as a pallet jack, scales, grinder, pricing equipment, step ladders
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
- Must be able to work regularly in cooler temperatures due to products in department
- Team-oriented and customer-focused demeanor
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends
