Full-time Maintenance Worker

Job Summary
Perform unskilled to semi-skilled maintenance, repair, and construction on school buildings and equipment across trades including locksmithing, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Install, adjust, and replace locks, door hardware, and furniture; operate maintenance machinery and tools. Assist with gas and water line repairs, heating and cooling adjustments, and minor mechanical fixes on small appliances. Prioritize and complete work orders within the maintenance ticketing system, maintain records of time, costs, and materials, and report property damage immediately to the Superintendent. Work schedule established by the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Superintendent. Salary commensurate with the Fairview Independent Schools Classified Salary Schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Holds a valid Driver's License
- Holds a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Satisfactory completion of State mandated health examination
- Demonstrates aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
