Job Summary
As a Full-Time Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for preserving the functionality of affordable housing properties. Your role includes surveying buildings for mechanical system repairs, performing maintenance tasks such as system installations and repairs, and maintaining heating and plumbing systems. Candidates should possess a detail-oriented nature, basic technology skills, organizational abilities, and a foundational understanding of various systems. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with additional certifications being a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Maintenance experience is preferred
- Detail oriented
- Basic technology (smart phone/computer)
- Organizational skills
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate smart phone, electronic work orders
- Ability to lift up to 90lbs and stand for up to 8 hours
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
