Job Summary
Maintenance Technician for Hampton Inn & Suites in Washington, DC-Navy Yard responsible for maintaining and repairing hotel equipment across kitchen, laundry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and guest rooms with minimal downtime. Tasks include repairing and installing electrical, plumbing, HVAC and lighting systems, conducting scheduled inspections, handling chemicals and hazardous materials per regulations, securing the building (security systems, locks, keys), and adapting to a high-energy, fast-paced environment with flexible hours (nights, weekends, holidays). Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of trade-related training/experience; working knowledge of basic hand and power tools is preferred. On-site role emphasizing physical activity (standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, ladder use) and collaboration within a diverse team.
Required Qualifications
