Job Summary
Assist the Maintenance Director with repairs and services for residents, maintaining common areas free of scuff marks and keeping grounds clean by collecting trash and sweeping dumpster areas. Respond to all building emergencies, execute assigned work orders timely, and perform safety checks on the community vehicle before operation. Drive safely following traffic regulations while demonstrating high safety standards in all work practices. This role supports a growing senior living community serving over 4,000 residents with a culture of servant leadership.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or work equivalency
- Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language
- Proficiency and understanding of systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance
- Experience in maintaining water source heat pumps
- Understanding of OSHA and life safety regulations
- Active and in good standing state driver's license
- Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Desired Qualifications
- Department of Transportation (DOT) certified
- Previous experience working with seniors
- Desire to serve and care for seniors
- Boiler License
