Job Summary
Administer medical treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians while providing direct recovery-focused care in accordance with established policies. Implement safe, effective, and efficient client services within the Assertive Community Treatment team serving 110 adults in San Diego. Work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, utilizing a personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups with weekly mileage reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) /Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) program
- Current licensure as LVN or LPT
- Current CPR/BLS certificate
- At least 18 years of age
- CPR, First Aid, and CPI certification (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care
- Maintenance of current CPR, First Aid, and CPI certification throughout employment
- Successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination
- Acceptable results of the 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis
- Acceptable criminal background clearances
- Excluded party sanctions clearance
- Degree or license verification
- Valid driver's license
- Motor vehicle clearance
- Proof of auto insurance
- Maintenance of valid driver's license, personal vehicle insurance with name listed as driver, and motor vehicle clearance throughout employment
- Willingness to use personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups
