Job Summary
Provide recovery-focused direct care and administer medical treatments as prescribed by physicians. Drive throughout Orange County to deliver psychiatric services to members, utilizing either personal or company vehicles for appointments and group sessions. Maintain current licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and required background clearances while adhering to established policies and standards of care. This role supports Telecare's mission to help individuals recover their health, hopes, and dreams within the TAO South community-based program serving adults.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) /Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) program
- Current licensure as LVN or LPT
- Current CPR/BLS certificate
- At least 18 years of age
- CPR, First Aid, and CPI certification (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care
- Maintenance of current CPR, First Aid, and CPI certification throughout employment
- Successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination
- Acceptable results of the 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis
- Acceptable criminal background clearances
- Excluded party sanctions clearance
- Degree or license verification
- Valid driver's license
- Motor vehicle clearance
- Proof of auto insurance
- Maintenance of valid driver's license, personal vehicle insurance with the candidate's name listed as a driver, and motor vehicle clearance throughout employment
- Willingness to use a personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups
- Willingness to use a personal vehicle to attend meetings
