Job Summary
Perform Computed Radiography (CR) and Digital Radiography (DR) inspections, set up and calibrate imaging systems, and interpret radiographic images to evaluate indications. Ensure image quality meets standards, prepare accurate inspection reports, and maintain equipment while adhering to radiation safety procedures. Work independently with production teams, support additional NDT methods as needed, and work overtime or varying shifts based on operational needs. Relocation assistance is available for local or relocating candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Previous CR/DR inspection experience
- Level II RT certification
- Experience with digital imaging software and radiographic systems
- Strong understanding of radiographic inspection techniques and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret codes, specifications, and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Local candidates or willingness to relocate to Monroe, NC
- Relocation assistance availability (condition)
Desired Qualifications
- Additional NDT certifications (UT, MT, PT, VT)
- State card or radiation safety certifications where applicable
- Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments
