Job Summary
The Lube Technician performs routine vehicle maintenance focusing on oil and fluid changes, checks tire pressure, inspects for leaks, and replaces basic parts like air filters and windshield wipers. Responsibilities include conducting multi-point safety inspections, noting any additional work, attending training and shop meetings, and supporting the service team. Requires owning a toolbox and a valid IL driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; strong organization and ability to work unsupervised are valued. Work hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with rotating Saturdays 8:00 am–12:00 pm. Compensation starts at $18/hour and increases with experience. Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid IL driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Provide own tools and toolbox
- Some previous Lube Technician experience is preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
