Job Summary
Administer medications and treatments to residents in the skilled nursing center while assisting with admission and discharge processes. Maintain accurate documentation, respond to emergency call lights, and keep physicians and families informed of any changes in resident conditions. Conduct rounds with physicians to transcribe orders and ensure continuity of services and care. This role supports a low-acuity environment with good staffing ratios within an upscale, 15-acre wildlife habitat community.
Required Qualifications
- Current nursing license with the state of Florida
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months nursing experience, preferred
- Geriatric involvement preferred
