Job Summary
Conduct customer service by assisting shoppers with locating, selecting, and loading merchandise while responding promptly to questions. Pull, stage, and prepare customer and contractor orders accurately, utilizing power equipment and store technology safely to move and load goods. Maintain in-stock conditions through down stocking and replenishment, ensuring clean, organized work areas and reporting safety hazards or security concerns. Serve as a visible extension of the Pro Desk and Garden Center by engaging customers, supporting enrollment in Pro Rewards, and ensuring orders are loaded accurately based on size and weight. Complete required power equipment and spotter training to support safe, efficient loading practices while maintaining product quality and safety standards throughout the store.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 Months Retail experience
- 6 Months Experience as a Loader at any home improvement or hardware retailer
- 6 Months Retail merchandising experience, including performing Zone Recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping
- 6 Months Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles
