Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a safe, efficient operation in the Carlton Liquor Store. Assist the Liquor Store Manager with daily supervision and prioritization of team activities, respond to customer inquiries, stay informed about in-store promotions, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for alcohol service. Perform receiving and documentation for deliveries, conduct basic data entry to update inventory, and operate equipment as needed. Must meet provincial training/certification requirements for responsible alcohol service and be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered; Grade 12 or equivalent is required, with supervisory experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Provincially required training/certification relating to the responsible service and/or sale of alcohol (e.g. Serve it Right)
- Strong customer service, communication and time management skills
- Experience or ability to supervise and direct liquor store teams
- Experience with data entry, inventory management and receiving deliveries
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Comfort with operating equipment such as pallet jack, walkie stacker, computers/till
