Job Summary
Evaluate and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, customizing approaches based on individual needs. Implement manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and appropriate modalities to facilitate recovery and improve patient outcomes. Educate patients on injury prevention strategies and design effective home exercise programs that align with their rehabilitation goals. Maintain clear and accurate documentation in accordance with state regulations and clinic protocols. Engage in regular consultations with physicians, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care through collaborative practice. This onsite role involves home care settings for athletes, post-surgical patients, and those managing chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- A valid and active Physical Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain one)
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent educational background that meets the requirements for licensure
- A commitment to continuing professional education and growth within the field of physical therapy
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling clear patient education and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong manual therapy skills coupled with excellent clinical reasoning abilities, allowing for effective patient assessments and treatment planning
- A valid driver's license (implied by onsite presence in home care settings)
