Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility and functionality. Provide one-on-one therapeutic interventions, tracking patient progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results. Engage actively with patients, guiding them through exercises and rehabilitation techniques while fostering a motivational and supportive atmosphere. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR), utilizing systems such as WebPT to document therapy sessions and progress notes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss patient cases, treatment strategies, and continuing education opportunities. Work predominantly with a diverse patient population, including post-operative orthopedic cases, sports injuries, and individuals recovering from neurological conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current and valid physical therapy license issued by the state of Colorado
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting
Desired Qualifications
- an MPT or DPT
- Strong knowledge of electronic medical record systems and documentation processes
- familiarity with WebPT
- Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team
- Background in conducting specialized therapies, such as manual therapy, dry needling, or aquatic therapy
- Comfort with patient education
