Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions to determine individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to improve mobility and functional capacity. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed while educating patients and families on home exercises. Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans and outcomes using the WebPT EMR system. Stay current with industry best practices and evidence-based methodologies to continuously improve patient outcomes. Work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in our Woodcliff Lake rehabilitation center, serving diverse populations including older adults and those with neurological disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active New Jersey State Physical Therapist License in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree
- Knowledge of manual therapy techniques
- Strong commitment to a patient-centered approach
- Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT
- Prior experience in a rehabilitation center or skilled nursing facility
- Skills in developing group therapy programs or community health initiatives
- Additional certifications in specialty areas (e.g., orthopedic, geriatric therapy)
