Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using diverse modalities such as exercise programs, manual therapy techniques, and assistive devices tailored to each patient's unique needs. Regularly assess and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to maximize outcomes. Provide education and resources to patients and their families regarding injury management, rehabilitation strategies, and health promotion. Engage and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care. Maintain knowledge of the latest trends, research findings, and therapeutic practices in physical therapy through continuous education and training opportunities. Work onsite in a collaborative team environment serving diverse populations ranging from post-operative care to chronic pain management.
Required Qualifications
- A valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida
- A Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A proactive mentality and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- A deep-rooted commitment to enhancing patient outcomes and overall quality of life
Desired Qualifications
- Previously worked in a rehabilitation setting
