Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess musculoskeletal function and design customized treatment plans for individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, or chronic pain. Coordinate care by collaborating with referring physicians and orthopedic specialists, while supervising Physical Therapist Assistants to ensure compliance with state regulations and clinical protocols. Document patient progress meticulously using WebPT EMR, adjusting treatment strategies based on real-time feedback and outcomes. Build strong relationships with patients and families to enhance engagement throughout the recovery process. Requires an active Colorado Physical Therapist license, a Bachelor's degree (Master's or Doctorate preferred), and at least two years of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active Colorado Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care
- Strong clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate)
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Familiarity with WebPT EMR or similar electronic medical record systems
- Experience with manual therapy techniques
- Experience with rehabilitation protocols commonly used in orthopedic care
