Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient conditions and determine specific needs based on individual assessments. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing functional independence through hands-on therapy, customized exercises, and modalities including manual therapy, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, while delivering education on injury prevention and self-management techniques. Document patient interactions and progress notes in accordance with healthcare regulations and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss care strategies. This outpatient orthopedic clinic serves individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- current Nevada Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- minimum of two years of outpatient experience
- Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation
- familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A commitment to continuous education and staying current with best practices in physical therapy
