Job Summary
Conduct thorough physical assessments to develop individualized treatment plans for patients facing mobility challenges. Implement therapeutic interventions incorporating exercise prescriptions, manual therapy, and modalities like electrical stimulation to facilitate recovery. Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as necessary, while collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care. Provide education to patients and families on injury prevention and home exercise programs, maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with some flexibility based on appointments.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California
- Strong understanding of physical therapy principles, methods, and therapeutic modalities
- Excellent assessment and clinical reasoning skills to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs
- Strong communication skills and empathetic approach to patient care, fostering trust and rapport
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working in an outpatient setting
- Experience with specialized populations, such as athletes or geriatric patients
- Considerable knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment modalities specific to physical health therapy
