Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' personal goals and physical limitations, strategically developing individualized treatment plans. Manage a patient caseload averaging one patient per hour while utilizing therapeutic techniques to enhance range of motion and mobility. Develop progressive exercise protocols tailored to unique needs, monitor patient progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans. Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and communicate clearly with referred physicians and allied health professionals. Encourage wellness through education on healthy practices, nutrition, and prevention strategies. This full-time role involves working onsite in our rehabilitative practice setting, collaborating closely with two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant.
Required Qualifications
- Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Solid understanding of contemporary rehabilitation practices
- Ability to develop individualized care plans that reflect evidence-based practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Proven track record of utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT
