Job Summary
Conduct in-depth evaluations of patients' mobility and functional challenges, crafting customized treatment plans tailored to individual rehabilitation goals. Administer therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and enhance physical function, while regularly assessing progress to modify plans based on real-time feedback. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for individuals undergoing orthopedic recovery, injury rehabilitation, or chronic pain management. Educate patients and families on recovery techniques and injury prevention strategies to support sustained well-being and independence.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- A strong understanding of rehabilitation protocols
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and rapport with patients
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT
- hands-on experience in orthopedic therapy
