Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients including detailed physical assessments to identify functional limitations and establish baseline measures. Design and implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic patients, including post-surgical cases, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Maintain accurate documentation to support patient care, outcomes tracking, and billing processes while ensuring the therapy environment remains safe and clean. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care strategies and contribute to clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active Physical Therapy license in Florida or eligibility for licensure
- A strong commitment to providing patient-centered care and operating within a collaborative healthcare environment
- While a minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is required
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as WebPT is advantageous
