Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patient mobility and functional capabilities, utilizing advanced techniques to identify areas for improvement. Design and implement customized rehabilitation programs that address the specific needs and goals of each patient, employing a combination of therapeutic modalities, exercises, and hands-on techniques to facilitate recovery. Provide ongoing education to patients and their families regarding effective at-home exercise regimens and progress monitoring while maintaining accurate documentation within the electronic health record system. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists and speech therapists to optimize treatment strategies for individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Must possess or be eligible for an active Florida PT License
- Strong clinical decision-making abilities
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of prior experience as a physical therapist in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting
