Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, determining tailored therapy interventions for orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical cases. Design and implement individualized treatment plans that enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and improve functional performance while regularly assessing progress to adjust interventions. Collaborate with physicians on treatment efficacy and document all patient interactions meticulously in accordance with departmental policies. Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment objectives and home exercise programs while maintaining a clean and safe therapy environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida
- A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Clinical skills in evaluating and treating various physical conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting
- Focus on orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation
