Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose physical impairments and develop customized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based interventions like therapeutic exercises and manual therapy. Continuously monitor and document patient progress within the digital management system while collaborating with physicians and occupational therapists to maximize health outcomes. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and self-management techniques to encourage active participation in recovery. Work onsite with a diverse population including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and neurological disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, physical therapy treatment techniques, and applicable therapeutic modalities
- Proven ability to create and implement effective treatment plans for a range of physical therapy diagnoses, both simple and complex
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and electronic medical record software
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting
- Experience with specialty treatment areas such as sports rehabilitation, geriatric care, or orthopedic therapy
- Knowledge of current physical therapy trends and best practices, especially within the rehabilitation sector
