Job Summary
Collaborate with patients to identify individual goals and develop customized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Manage a patient caseload providing one-on-one therapy sessions at a rate of one patient per hour, utilizing evidence-based interventions to enhance range of motion and mobility. Incorporate various treatment techniques and modalities to promote functional improvement, while creating tailored fitness programs to support long-term health benefits. Document all patient care services meticulously to ensure compliance with state regulations and organizational protocols. Engage in thorough evaluations of treatment outcomes and maintain open communication with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm in a state-of-the-art 5,000 square-foot sports medicine facility in San Diego, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Current and valid California license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- A clean professional record, free from any board or disciplinary actions
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development
- Experience in the use of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to document patient histories and treatment plans

- Prior experience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings
- Demonstrated success in designing individualized treatment and rehabilitation programs that have led to positive patient outcomes
