Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess functional limitations and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices to improve movement, alleviate pain, and enhance daily activities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians and occupational therapists to ensure coordinated care. Document all interactions accurately and communicate regularly with patients and families to set goals and provide education. Adhere strictly to state regulations and organizational policies while participating in staff training and clinical education sessions. Serve a diverse population recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions within patients' homes in Dulles, Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- An active state license as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
- Minimum two years of outpatient orthopedic experience, particularly in home care settings
- Current CPR certification

- Experience with geriatric populations and knowledge of age-related health conditions
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and mobile therapy applications
