Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive home evaluations to assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans incorporating strength training, balance exercises, and pain management strategies. Implement therapeutic sessions for pediatric and geriatric clients while advising on assistive device usage and providing family training. Maintain meticulous documentation of progress and adjust treatment protocols based on reevaluations and patient feedback. Work independently in Dulles, Virginia, with flexible Monday through Friday scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Current State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in computer skills for maintaining patient records and documentation
- A proactive, flexible approach to patient care and problem-solving
- Ability to adapt to various home environments
- Onsite presence
- Autonomy to choose working hours throughout the week
- Available shifts from Monday to Friday
