Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs, establish treatment goals, and develop individualized care plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities. Provide hands-on physical therapy services, demonstrating exceptional manual therapy skills, and incorporate modalities aimed at improving range of motion and reducing pain. Manage the care of 2-3 patients per hour in a fast-paced setting, ensuring each patient receives personalized attention and high-quality care based on established best practices. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, synchronizing treatment plans with specialists to ensure comprehensive, integrated patient care. Regularly assess and document treatment progress, adapting care plans as needed based on patients' responses and outcomes. Work onsite Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM within a collaborative atmosphere featuring two fellow physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Current and valid Physical Therapist License in the state of Virginia
- No board actions or disciplinary actions on your professional license
- Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Software, preferably WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Demonstrated skills and proficiency in manual therapy techniques
