Job Summary
Conduct detailed patient evaluations to establish tailored treatment plans, implementing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and adaptive equipment to alleviate pain and improve mobility. Regularly document patient progress and adjust plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for supportive care recommendations. Educate patients and families on techniques, exercises, and assistive device usage. Engage in continuing professional education to stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices. This role supports a diverse patient population including children and adults recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions within a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Bonita Springs.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic proficiency in word processing and computer applications for documentation and patient records
- A commitment to continual personal and professional development
Desired Qualifications
